Great accessibility almost in the middle of town with paths up to the top of the mountain. However, parts of the terrain are hard to reach, as the mountain is over 200 meters high and the terrain is very hilly. You will have a staggering view of Örnsköldsvik and out to the sea. You can choose a scale of 1:10000 or 1:7500.
Four kilometers from the city center is this 150 meter high mountain range. On top you will find a plateau with sparse pine forests, boulder fields, a lot of contour detail, and not least the beautiful lake Bergsjön, which you can take a dip in.
The map area consists of two sea-borne mountains with brutal descents, but otherwise open terrain with good runnabillity. The are between the mountains is covered with pine forest on a sandy forest floor. This map has a suggested course option that is longer, but easier. It is 6.6 km long and mostly stays on trails. Gullvik also has a nice seaside bath.
At Bjästamon you will find sandy pine forests with fast and easy cycling paths. The area is similar to parts of Stage 1 and Stage 5.
