If you are using a SIAC, it is important that the battery is not too old. The manufacturer recommends changing the battery after a maximum of three years. If the battery stops working, it is no longer possible to perform touch free punches. If you are participating in Foot-O, you can punch in the punching unit's hole in the usual way, but if you are participating in MTBO, that is not possible.

It will also be possible to change the battery at Sportident's stand at the O-Ringen square during O-Ringen Jönköping 2025.

After that, you can change the tag at the verification station that you pass on your way to the start, but to avoid queues, everyone is recommended to register the correct tag in advance.
