Sonja Ramberg started orienteering a few years ago. When Skattkärrs SOK began planning their trip to O-Ringen in Jönköping, Sonja decided to join in. And now she’s here for her very first O-Ringen experience.

– Everyone’s been talking about how fun O-Ringen is, the great atmosphere, and how close you get with your teammates. And Jönköping seemed like a nice place!

Sonja continues:
– And people have said it’s very beginner-friendly. That it doesn’t have to be super competitive if you don’t want it to be.

What else are you hoping for this week?
– I hope I manage to find all the controls and don’t mispunch. And I’m aiming for a really fast sprint time one of the days, says Sonja, who’s got her eye on the "Biltema-spurten" competition.

What do you think of O-Ringen so far?
– It’s been absolutely wonderful! I’m staying at the campsite in a caravan – close to the water, swimming, dishwashing area, and toilets!
– And there are so many people – it’s a lot of fun!
