Socializing time is more important than performance
Among the club flags on the football field at Arena Månsarp we find a group from OK Enen, from Enköping. They are tired but very happy with their week in Jönköping.
- We are about 30 persons from our club here, says Albin Westerberg. Mostly middle-aged but also some young people. We usually go to O-Ringen together.
They have been staying at the campsite at Elmia.
- We are very happy with the campsite, we got flat and good area, says Rasmus Steen.
They think the week has been great and warm, so there have been many swims at Sannabadet.
- It has been well organized and worked well with the buses and the arenas, says Anna Hagblad.
- Yesterday's stage was flat and good, otherwise the week has been tough in terms of terrain with a lot of hills, says Rasmus. My body is starting to get tired now, he continues.
The club usually goes to O-Ringen and definitely has plans to go to Gothenburg next year.
- The wholeness, the community and running are the best things about O-Ringen, says Albin.
When I ask the group why they go to O-Ringen, the answer is obvious.
- The social aspect and the community!
- Going to O-Ringen is more of a vacation than any other vacation. Because when everyone has run, there is so much time to just hang out, concludes Anna, from OK Enen.
