Nearly 11,000 participants have now registered for this summer's O-Ringen. Together, these participants represent over 40 nations and 900 clubs.

We are heading towards a real orienteering party this summer and it is clear that the terrain in Gothenburg is attractive. After Sunday's registration deadline, the number landed at 10,759 registered participants from over 40 nations and about 900 clubs, where in the top 5 we find:

OK Kåre (135 registered)

Sundsvalls OK (116 registered)

Linköpings OK (109 registered)

OK Linné (108 registered)

Lunds OK (104 registered)

Largest nation after Sweden (7203 registered) is Norway (1057 registered) and Switzerland (555 registered).

If we compare the registration figures with our previous years, O-Ringen Göteborg is closest to O-Ringen Smålandskusten 2024, which on this date had just over 11,000 registrations. And we probably all remember Smålandskusten as a really wonderful O-Ringen.
