Now it's time for this year's final and the last day of O-Ringen 2026 in Gothenburg. We wish all participants a great final stage!

Foot-O Stage 5 – Göteborgsetappen – Arena Länsmansgården – Long Distance

The last stage at O-Ringen Gothenburg welcomes you back for another day at Arena Länsmansgården. Today is chase start for many participants, and the competition classes start in the opposite direction compared to stage 4. The stage opening is at 8:30, the arena is open from 7:00, (you can find the different opening hours for the services at the arena in the Programme booklet).

If you come by stage bus from O-Ringenstaden (15 min) or the satellite parking (12 min), you have 750 m to walk from the drop-off point to the arena. Stage buses start at 6:30 from O-Ringenstaden. If you travel by public transport, you can take the tram to the Väderilsgatan stop, and from there it is 800 m to walk to the arena. Take bus 25 to the Svarte Mosse stop to get to the arena. By bike it is 8.5 km from O-Ringenstaden, on nice bike paths, and there is bike parking at the arena. There is signage from the green entrance to O-Ringenstaden all the way to the arena (A4 signs), be careful and lead the bike over Björlandavägen.

Today's tip from the course setters: For longer legs on both easier and more difficult courses, remember that there may be some fast lines through the terrain if you run a bit further round. They’re longer but have less climb and use more runnable terrain. Adapting your speed is key when longer legs are mixed with shorter, detailed legs.

MTBO Stage 5 – Arena Landvetter - Shortened long distance

The last stage of MTBO at this year's O-Ringen is a shortened long distance at Arena Landvetter. There is a very rich network of paths around the arena and there will be many route choices. Most courses have map changes at the arena, so the last stage will be a spectator-friendly one! Start between 10.00 - 12.30.

Parking is available next to the arena.

TrailO Stage 5 – Arena Ramberget

The fifth and final stage of TrailO starts at the top of Ramberget and then you race your way down. From detailed rocky terrain at the top, where you are over 87 m above sea level and can see all of Gothenburg, to sparse coniferous forest down towards the finish line. Start between 9.30 - 12.00.

Parking is available close to the arena.

Activities today

• Awards ceremony for the overall result at 16.00. Maria Kinnman will entertain.
• Before the awards ceremony, the traditional football match between Sweden and the World Team will be held, where elite athletes will compete this year at Tuvevallen at 15.00.
  
• In the evening, the end of this year's O-Ringen for all ages will be celebrated! For those over 18, a closing party will be held at Valand, in central Gothenburg. Here you can enjoy food, live music and DJs who will keep the dance floor going! Three children's and youth discos are held at O-Ringentorget. One for up to 12 years between 18.00-20.00, for 13-16 years between 20.30-23.45, and also for 16-18 years between 20.30-23.45. • Saturday's theme for the politicians at O-Ringentorget is "Sweden in the Nordic countries in Europe in the world". Orienteers from around 40 countries are participating at O-Ringen, the world's largest orienteering adventure.

Competitor's service: 15.00-20.00

Pick up your lost and found! Lost and forgotten items from stage 4 can be found at Competitor's service at arena Länsmansgården. Valuables from all stages will also be taken to Länsamangården on the last stage. Other items from the week can be found at Competitor's service at O-Ringentorget, and after stage 5 everything will be taken to the O-Ringen Square.

Competitor's service at O-Ringentorget is open from 09.00-12.00. Take the opportunity to collect prizes and look for forgotten items at the Lost and Found.

The kiosks are open in the morning and afternoon, 8:00-10:00 (O-Ringentorget) and 8:00-10:00 (camping kiosks).

The campsite is open until 11:00.
