Stage start
If you only want to run some of the stages or would like the freedom of selecting a different course every day, then Stage Start is the option for you. Maybe you like to do Foot-O one day and Trail-O the next? You can either sign up for Stage Start ahead of time or buy your entries directly at the competition arenas or at the competitor services at the O-Ringen square. Stage start is avaliable at all of our stages and has an open start time. If you participate in several stages, no total time is given, but each start is independent.
For our younger participants we offer introduction (inskolning). Also avaliable to book for 5 days under our main- and short classes. Are you an adult and a beginner we have Try-it-out classes to start with. Then you can gradually choose more difficult and / or longer courses.
If you are new to the sport of orienteering, you can get help with the basic skills and with finding the right course for you through our orienteering school, located at each of the arenas used for foot orienteering. The orienteering school is free of charge.
The Stage Start option is available for each orienteering discipline that is offered at O-Ringen:
-Foot Orienteering (Foot-O)
-Mountainbike Orienteering (MTBO)
-Trail Orienteering (Trail-O)
