Travel to Smålandskusten

When you make your way to the Småland and Oskarshamn, you’re about the same distance from each of Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm. It’s easy to get to Oskarshamn by car or by using one of the dailybus services from many cities in Sweden. A number of bus companies offer services; Flixbus has a direct connection to 15 other towns and Vy Bus4You to 9 towns, and then there’s Silverlinjen, which runs between Öland/Kalmar and Stockholm.

If you would like to fly, the nearest airport is Kalmar Öland Airport, which is served by several routes and carriers. You might want to combine your visit to Smålandskusten with a trip to Gotland by catching the ferry between Gotland and Oskarshamn. There are also several options for travelling by train. If you’re arriving by train to Kalmar, Berga or Västervik you can take a bus connection to your final destination.

Between 22nd–28th July, Kalmar Länstrafik (regional pubictransport) is offering a 50% discount on 24-hour tickets within the Kalmar region. As well as that, all competitorscan show their number bib to travel free on bus 701 in Oskarshamn throughout the week. During O-Ringen week there will be many opportunities to get to, from and between competitions using public transport.
