Child care

Childcare will be available at our arenas at Rosenfors, Gunnarsö and Döderhultsdalen. You can register and pay in advance and our goal is for children to enjoy ourselves and have fun with us, so you can go out and enjoy your run, feeling assured that your child will have a good day.

Opening times

Childcare is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Childcare is open from 7.30am and closes at 4.00pm, and is limited to a maximum of three hours per day (while you are orienteering).

Ages: 3-8 years
Price: SEK 90/day

Registration

You can register your child and pay via the booking portal at oringen.se (click Register, then Activities and other services). You can also register later at Competitor Services at O-Ringen Square or at the arena. When you check in with your child, bring the booking confirmation you received via email. Please remember that you cannot register your child at the childcare itself.

Check-in

When you check in with your child, you must fill in a form Pdf, 302.3 kB. noting any medical conditions, allergies, etc. You can complete this form in advance at oringen.se, or it is available at Competitor Services at O-Ringen Square or at the arena. After checking in, your child will receive a vest that displays a number, as a well as a sticker with the child’s name and any allergies. Each child will also have a bag for their things. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. If your child will be at the childcare every day, they will have the same number on their vest each day – the vest must be returned after each day and may not be taken from the childcare area.

Activities, food and more

After check-in, a helper will show the child around. There will be a number of different activities for the child to take part in. A small meal will be served each day. Gluten free and lactose free options will be available, however if your child requires another special diet you must send their food with them. At the arenas at Rosenfors and Döderhultsdalen, childcare will be indoors but with an outdoor play area available, while at the Gunnarsö arena it will be in a marquee outdoors. The childcare does have toilet facilities but it is important that children are able go to the toilet themselves with the help of an adult – unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to look after children who are not toilet trained.

Remember to dress your child appropriately for the conditions. For example, make sure they are wearing sun cream and have a sun hat and/or rain clothes. For security reasons you will need to show identification when you collect your child.
