MTBO

MTBO takes place over three days or as a stage start.

MTBO is fast-paced and is a lot about choosing the right route and making quick decisions. The map is similar to that used in regular orienteering. The biggest difference is how paths and roads are reported. The road and the rideability of the path are reported, where you can simply say that the longer the lines on the map, the faster the path is to cycle.

As before, it is allowed to double in all our disciplines. However, you are not allowed to double with the intention of reconnoitering before participating in the other discipline.

Competiton class

The competition classes are divided by gender and age, and have a random start time for the first two stages and a chase start for the last stage.

Classes may be merged if there are too few participants in a class. The decision on merging will be made after the regular registration deadline on June 6th.

Open class

You choose a class with a suitable course length and difficulty level, which you then participate in throughout the week and receive an overall result. Free start time applies to open classes.

Do you want to participate on a single day or have the freedom to choose the course according to your daily form? Then there is the option to buy stage starts, which can be pre-booked here or purchased on site.

On all stages you have a free start time. If you participate in multiple stages, no total time is given.
